Q. Can I wash my Win Green playhouse and other Win Green products?

A. We recommend that Win Green playhouses and tents are “sponge cleaned” using warm soapy water and not machine washed. Machine washing will cause shrinkage due to the large amount of stitching used in the embroidery.  All other Win Green items can be machine washed on a 30 degree cycle, using mild detergent but no bleaching agent.  Reshape whilst damp, but do not tumble dry.

Q. I’m having trouble putting my playhouse together, do you have any tips?

A. It is essential that the framework is assembled correctly to ensure that the fabric fits perfectly.  If the poles are not pushed fully into the connectors then the fabric will not fit correctly, putting the seams under unnecessary strain.  To be sure that the poles are pushed fully into the plastic connectors, we recommend a gentle “twist” as you push.

Q. Win Green playhouse has been used to perform acrobatics.  Can I buy replacement parts?

A. The framework is designed to keep the fabric in place and should not be subjected to additional stresses or strains, however over the years we have come to learn that Win Green playhouses make great monkey-bars!  With this in mind, replacement pole and connectors sets are available to purchase. Please contact us and we will be happy to get Win Green playhouse up and running again!

Q. Where are Win Green products designed and made?

A. Win Green products are lovingly designed in the UK and are brought to life by Win Green highly talented and skilled team in India.  The fabrics used to create Win Green products are hand-woven and hand-dyed using traditional Indian techniques.  Did you know that it takes at least 15 hour Greens sewing time to create one Win Green playhouse?!

Q. I’m not sure which size playhouse to order, what would you recommend?

A. Most people’s choice of playhouse size depends on the space they have available.  In terms of age suitability we usually recommend the small playhouse for children up to the age of five.  The large playhouse measures 165cm high, so enough room for Mummy or Daddy too!

Q. How do Win Green playhouses come packaged?

A. Win Green playhouses come packaged in a white box measuring just under 1 meter in height and approximately 30-35cm in width.  Each playhouse is then packed in to its own canvass storage bag, making it easy to transport from place to place. A small size playhouse weighs approximately 6kg and a large size playhouse approximately 8kg.

Q. Can we use Win Green playhouse outside?

A. Win Green playhouses are made from 100% cotton but are not waterproof.  In good weather Win Green tents and playhouses will create a great shady spot in the back garden or a trip to the beach, creating the perfect backdrop to all the outdoor fun your children can have!
